Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1491 by Emperor Friedrich III. The arms show a deer, derived from the crest of the Lords of Rechberg zu Hohenrechberg, who ruled the town at the time. The arms have not changed since, except for some changes and differences in the colours through the centuries.
