Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 1902.
The arms were designed by the State Archives in 1902 and combine the arms of the medieval Lords of Sunthausen with the bordure of Fürstenberg. The Lords of Sundhausen were vassals of the Counts (later Princes) of Fürstenberg.
