Official blazon
In zilver een bruinvis van natuurlijke kleur, opduikend uit een glovende schildvoet, glovend gedwarsbalk van vier stukken, azuur en zilver. Als embleemspreuk KLEIN MAAR DAPPER in Latijnse letters van azur op een lint van zilver. Approved 17 February 1989.
Origin/meaning
The badge shows a canting Bruinvis (Dutch for Porpoise). It was the winning design by Leading Seaman P.A. Eiting in the competition for a Badge but forward by the Commanding Officer of the Submarine Service. It has been used by a Submarine in Service since 1994.
