The arms of Ferndorf were granted on May 27, 1939.
The arms show a horn, which was the symbol used on the medieval seal of Ferndorf and Krombach, known since 1470. The colours are those of Nassau, as the are was part of the County Nassau-Siegen. The horn was also used in the arms of the Amt Ferndorf.
