Auf schwarzem Grund einen doppelschwänzigen, rotgekrönten und rotbewehrten goldenen Löwen (Kurpfälzer Löwe), in der linken Pranke eine goldene Weintraube haltend und in der rechten ein kleines Schild mit schwarzem Gemerke* aus dem alten Gerichtssiegel von Dorsheim vom Jahre 1653.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1974

The arms show the lion of the Pfalz, to which the village historically belonged. The lion holds a grape for the importance of viticulture, and a small shield with the local village sign. This symbol was seen on the seal of the village from 1653.
