Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 2019.
The first quarter shows the arms of the Pidoux family, former lords of the village. The second quarter symbolises the Thouet river and agriculture. The third quarter is taken from the arms of the Deux-Sèvres département. The last quarter refers to St. Martin of Tours, the local patron saint.
