Wappen von Erfweiler-Ehlingen/Arms (crest) of Erfweiler-Ehlingen

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 20, 1970.

The arms show in the chief the red cross of the State of Trier and in the lower half the silver pale in blue from the Counts von der Leyen. The village historically belonged to Trier or the counts. The small tower symbolises the local tower, whereas the millstone symbolises the former local water mill.
