Badge: Per fess Argent and Azure between two flashes of lightning a representation the figure of Mercury the sinister foot standing on a globe and carrying with the sinister arm a caduceus Or.
Motto: INTER TEMPORA PER SPATIA. This Latin motto was later corrected to read PER TEMPUS SPATIUMQUE, meaning “Through time and space”.
Origin/meaning
The badge was approved on June 1, 1997.
