Incorporated into : 2021 Hautemorges
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
As part of the former baron of Cossonay, the village of Cottens formed a small estate, which the Crinsoz family possessed from 1573 to 1798. In memory thereof, the commune adopted in 1922 the coat of arms of Crinsoz de Cottens, replacing their fleur-de-lis with an ear of wheat.
