History: Formed at Watton in April 1966.

Official blazon

In front of a Trident erect azure a moth Melese laodamia druce wings displayed proper.

Origin/meaning

The Trident symbolises that the Squadron was jointly staffed by Royal Navy and Royal Air Force Personnel, and therefore symbolise the RN part.
The Moth uses ultra.sonic electronic countermeasures to confuse predatory Bats, and thus symbolises the Electronic Warfare Role of the Squadron.
The Motto translates as "We shall throw into confusion". The badge was approved in September 1973.
