English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 19??.
The upper part of the arms shows the cross of the State of Trier, to which the area hostorically belonged. The roses are taken from the old arms of Dhron and refer to the Tholey Abbey, which had a vine estate in Dhron. The base shows a (classical) wine ship, referring to the importance of viticulture in the municipality.
