History: Raised at Portreath in June 1941.

Origin/meaning
The Elephant's Head is symbolic of India from where the "Punjab War Fund" donated money for Aircraft. It is also a formidable opponent. The badge was granted in April 1943. Unfortunately we have no information on the meaning or origin of these arms yet.
