HÜTTERSDORF

State : Saarland
District (Kreis) : Saarlouis
Incorporated into : 1974 Schmelz

Wappen von Hüttersdorf/Arms (crest) of Hüttersdorf
Official blazon
German Unter rotem Schildhaupt, darin zwei goldene Rosen, in Gold ein schwebendes rotes Kreuz, bewinkelt von vier roten Schindeln.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 4, 1958.

The cross refers to the Holy Cross church in the village. The billets are taken from the arms of the Lords of Hunolstein and the Lords von Hagen, to whom the area historically belonged. Both used arms with billets.

The chief shows two roses for the villages of Hütetrsdorf and Buprich.
