Origin/meaning
This Regiment was formed from the Regiment President Steyn in 1975 and in 2003 joined into the Regiment President Steyn. The Orange Tree is from the coat of Arms of the (Orange) Freestate, (Oranje) Vrystaat in Afrikaans.
