NO 787 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1941 at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton (HMS heron), Somerset as a Fleet Fighter Development Unit, a role it kept unitl disbanded in 1956.
English | Per fess blue and barry wavy of four white and blue; a key wards uppermost gold and a sword proper hilted gold in saltire. |
Origin/meaning
The Badge was approved on 17 October 1952. It symbolises the Figther Development Role.
