Origin/meaning
The previous arms have been officially granted on February 12, 2008.
These arms are canting: they show traditionally a towered palace (Palau-sator meaning literally in Catalan "palace-the-tower"). The three small charges symbolise the three other villages in the municipality, Fontclara, Sant Julia de Boada and Sant Feliu de Boada. The fountain (font) is a canting element for Fontclara, the cow (bou) for Sant Julia de Boada and the millstone is the symbol of St. Felix and represents Sant Feliu de Boada.
The previous arms have been officially granted on 22th September 1995.
These arms only showed the castle.
