Knippenbergh (1719) mentions that he used as arms those of the Lords of Cuyck (see also the municipality of [[Cuijk]]), which is also shown on a 17th century (?) portrait of him. As motto Knippenbergh mentions Esto Fidelis.
 
According to Habets (1890) he used different arms as shown above, with a golden bar and three crosses. These were the arms of his family. However, Habets also shows his seal, shown below, which shows two crosses, not three. And no crown.
