INFANTRY REGIMENT BREMEN (1ST HANSEATIC) NO 75, GERMANY
Garrison 1914: Bremen (I and II Bns) and Stade (III Bn)
Raised: 1866 from Prussian Troops, on June 27 1867 the Bremen Infantry Battalion with 600 men was taken into the Regiment
In 1897 the Bremen Contingent was expanded into two Battalions. In 1907 the Regiment was named Infantry Regiment Bremen (1st Hanseatic) No 75
