Gules a lymphad sails furled Argent the prow surmounted of a cross crosslet fitchee Or, in dexter chief on a plate an oak tree eradicated Proper and in sinister chief an eagle's head erased crowned with an eastern crown Or.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1986.

The ship and patriarchal cross are taken from the arms of the Burgh of Renfrew.
