MONTHEROD

Canton : Vaud

Armoiries de Montherod

Official blazon

De gueules à trois épis de blé d'or rangés en fasce.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1930.

The arms simply show three wheat ears as a symbol for the agricultural character of the village. The colours are those of Aubonne, the capital of the district.
