ORBE
Canton : Vaud
Official blazon
De gueules à deux bars adossés d'or.
Origin/meaning
The two fish are derived from the arms of the de Montfaucon family, Lords of the village from 1168-1397. The fish appear on the seals of the town in the 15th century and at the same time they also appear in decorations in the local church.
