German In Rot ein erniedrigter silberner Wellenbalken, überdeckt von einer ausgerissenen grünen Tanne mit goldenem Stamm und überhöht von drei goldenen Sternen.

Origin/meaning

The tree is taken from the old arms of the Emmental area. The bar is the Emme river that runs through the valley and the stars represent the villages in the municipality. The arms were devised in 1936.
