NO 644 SQUADRON, ROYAL AIR FORCE

History: Formed Tarrant Rushton in February 1944.

Official blazon

In front of an increscent argent a Pegasus rampant gules.
Motto: Dentes draconis serimus = We sow dragons teeth.

Origin/meaning

The Pegasus symbolise the Role of Carrying Paratroopers. The Increscent symbolise Operations carried out at Night. The badge was granted in February 1945.
