17TH FORCE SUPPORT SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 17 Station Complement Squadron on 5 Apr 1943. Activated on 10 Apr 1943. Redesignated 17 Station Complement Squadron (Special) c. Jul 1944. Disbanded on 24 Jun 1945. Reconstituted, and redesignated 17 Mission Support Squadron, on 8 Jun 1993. Activated on 1 Jul 1993. Redesignated 17 Force Support Squadron, on 22 Aug 2008.
