Dutch Van rood beladen met een keper en verzeld van drie korenairen alles van goud het hoofd gedwarsbalkt van rood en zilver van vier stukken waarop twee gedosseerde en met de staarten in een gestrengelde halve zwartie leeuwen getongd en genageld van keel.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 20, 1819.

The origin of the arms is not known. The arms are not derived from any of the arms of the Lords of Ouwegem. The arms were applied for by the local council in the early 19th century, but no historical meaning was supplied.
