Origin/meaning
The ancient Name for the Pompeii Area. Ship was purshased from the Cunard Steamship co. and the Lion and Motto are from the Company House Flag. The Wings alludes to the Role in World War II as an Escort Carrier. The Badge was approved in 25 april 1944.
