Fünfmal geteilt von Gelb und Rot, die roten Plätze belegt mit je drei sechsstrahligen gelben Sternen.

Origin/meaning

The oldest arms of the city are known since 1242, and show only the bars. In 1247 the arms are used with six stars. The number of stars was increased to 9 in 1533 and the arms have not changed since.
