Mustassa kentässä kaksi paaluttaista hopeista tuohitorvea selätysten, saaneena niiden yläkulmassa ja kummallakin sivulla kultainen naulakantainen apilaristi.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officialy granted on January 23, 1954.

The arms show a horn made of birch bark, used in historical times to warn off predators and to guide the cows on the pastures. the three crosses refer to the three former parishes in the municipality.
