Silber über Blau durch Meereswellen geteilt, oben wachsend zwei zueinander gekrümmte, steigende rote Forellen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 24, 2009.

The arms are canting, the name could mean Life in Water. The two trout are also the symbol for the Counts of Wernigerode, to whom the village historically belonged.
