VAQ-142 GRAY WOLVES, US NAVY

History: This is the second use of the designation for a Squadron commissioned on 1 April 1997. First use was for a Squadron nicknamed "Grim Watchdogs" active 1 June 1988 to March 1991.

Homeport: NAS Whidbey Island, Washington.
