Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 24, 1818.

The arms simply refer to agriculture and show farmer's tools (the blazon only states tools and is not specific). The arms have no historical meaning and were designed for the small agricultural village in 1818.

Literature: Servais, 1955
