LINCENT

Province : Liège
Additions : 1977 Pellaines, Racour

Armoiries de Lincent

Official blazon

De vair en chevron renversé, à deux chevrons de gueules.

Origin/meaning

The arms are not officially granted.

The arms are the assumed arms for Godescal de Morialmé, provost of Saint-Lambert, who owned part of the area in the 11th century. Of course he never had arms but these arms are attributed for him on a 14th century seal, on which the municipality baased the arms above.
