Origin/meaning

In Greek Mythology, daughter of King Acrisius. Her Son tried to kill the King, so He looked Her up in a brass Tower where She was released by Zeus. The badge was approved on 2 November 1919. The frist Latin Motto meaning "Let them fear the sons of Danaus was in 1967 changed to the one with the meaning "Let them fear those belonging to Danae".
