History: Formed at Catterick in May 1916.

In front of a saltire argent fimbriated azure a thistle slipped an leaved proper.
Motto: United in effort.
Origin/meaning
The Badge is similar to that of the Cameron Highlanders, one of whose Officers commanded the Squadron at one time. The Badge was approved in November 1939.
