DIEBACH AM HAAG

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Wetteraukreis (until 1975 Büdingen)
Incorporated into : 1974 Büdingen

Wappen von Diebach am Haag/Arms (crest) of Diebach am Haag
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The municipality never had arms. The above village arms were adopted in 2019.

The two black bars are derived from the arms of the Lords of Isenburg-Meerholz, to which the area historically belonged. The horseshoe refers to the agricultural character of the village and the former stage coach station. The rose refers to the former protective hedges around the village.
