KÄLBERTSHAUSEN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Neckar-Odenwald Kreis
Incorporated into : 1975 Hüffenhardt

Wappen von Kälbertshausen/Arms (crest) of Kälbertshausen
Official blazon
German Über von Blau und Silber geteiltem Schildfuß in Gold ein schwarzer Kalbskopf im Visier.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1949, against the wish of the local council.

Until 1949 the council only used a seal with the letters KH. The calf's head (Kalb) is a canting element, although the name has nothing to do with calves. The colours are those of the former estates of Helmstatt (silver-black) and Gemmingen (blue-gold).
