ALTBURG
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Calw
Incorporated into: 1975 Calw
German | In blau ein zinnengekrönter silberner Turm. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 26, 1971.
The arms are canting showing an old-style (alt) tower (Burg). Whether the village is actually named after a castle is not sure (mentioned as Altbura already in 830).
