HOLTE
State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Cuxhaven (until 1977 Wesermünde)
Incorporated into: 1974 Loxstedt
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms refer to the former Holte estate in the village and show the historical entrance gate to the estate. The nail in the arms is a canting symbol for the 14th century owners of the estate, the Nagel family (Nagel=nail).
