District/county (județ) : Prahova
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 27, 2004.
The upper half shows parts of the arms of the Manescu family, former lords of the village. The tower is taken from the arms of the Văcărescu family, as Theodor Văcărescu married Maria Manescu and thus the Văcărescu became owners of the local estate in the 19th century.
