Escudo de prata, um javali passante de negro, defendido de vermelho, encimado por quatro espigas de trigo de verde, postas em pala e alinhadas em faixa. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: “ MEIMÃO “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 18, 1995.

Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome  !

The previous arms were granted on December 9, 1992 and only differ in the colours.
