METLIKA
Origin/meaning
The above arms were adopted on October 12, 2005.
The coat of arms of Metlika are based on the medieval seal of the city, showing a tower with two ravens sitting in its base. The ravens are said to be in vigilance watching against a potential attack of the Turks.
