Escudo de vermelho, caldeira enxaquetada de ouro e negro, com quatro cabeças de serpe de verde em cada asa; em chefe, dois cachos de uvas de ouro, folhados de prata e, em campanha, roda de azenha de ouro, realçada de negro. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ LARA – MONÇÃO ”.

The arms were officially granted on August 21, 2003.
