German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms are based on the arms of the Lords of Aarwangen, known since the 13th century. The arms of the district of Aarwangen are similar, but flipped horizontally, to distinguish the arms from the arms of the city.
