HINSBECK

State: Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis): Viersen (until 1974 Kempen-Krefeld)
Incorporated into: 1970 Nettetal

Wappen von Hinsbeck/Arms (crest) of Hinsbeck
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1952.

The arms show the crossed keys as a symbol for St. Peter, the local patron saint. The fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the Lords of Krickenbeck, to whom the village historically belonged.
