Dansenbe.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 14, 1949.

The arms were based on the local seal, dating from 1761.
The species of the tree and bird are not known, the tree is officially described as a (common) wild cherry, the bird is not specified, although there are indications that it is historically a duck. The meaning of the composition is not known, it may refer to the bird hunting in the Dansenberger forest.
