Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 10, 1967.

The arms show the arms of the Counts of Eschenlohe. After the Counts of Ulten became extinct, the Counts of Tirol appointed the Heinrich von Eschenlohe as vassal. The right part shows the Tyrolean eagle, as Heinrich was a son of the Counts of Tirol.
