Escudo de vermelho, três espigas de milho de ouro, folhadas do mesmo e alinhadas em faixa; em chefe, coroa aberta de florões, de ouro, com pedraria de sua cor; em ponta, roda dentada de prata. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ SERZEDO – VILA NOVA DE GAIA “.
