Escudo de vermelho, torre de prata ladeada de duas chaves de ouro, postas em pala, com os palhetões para cima, a da dextra volvida, acompanhada em chefe de uma palma de ouro, posta em banda entre duas pedras de prata guarnecidas de negro; campanha ondada de prata e azul. Coroa mural de prata de quatros torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: “ SANTO ESTEVÃO - CHAVES “.
