TUTTLINGEN (TUT)
State : Baden-Württemberg
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 28, 1961 and again on October 12, 1973.
The upper part shows the deer antler of the arms of the Counts of Württemberg, who gradually acquired the area in the 14th century. The lower part shows the half wheel of the Lords of Hohenberg, an Austrian possession in the district. The colours in the lower half are taken from the arms of the cities of Trossingen, and Tuttlingen.
