Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 28, 1950.
The deer is taken from the arms of the Aminoff family, who had their estate in the village and played a major role in the local history. The two boat hooks refer to the importance of sailing and fishing for the community.
The grenade refers to the Riilahden sea battle near the coast of the municipality in 1714 between the Swedish and Russian fleets.
